Boxing champion Rocky Lockridge is a recovering crack addict. He was homeless only half a year ago, living for on a New Jersey sidewalk and craving both the drug and alcohol, too.
Now the former world junior lightweight boxing champion is in recovery and will soon be seen on the A&E show 'Intervention', a weekly docudrama about addicts and their stories.
Crews followed Lockridge with their cameras, through his intervention and during his attempt to help himself. In exchange, the program paid for rehab, in this case at the Rayville, Louisana facility called Palmetto Addiction Recovery Center. Three for three months, Rocky graduated on February 8, 2010.
